Dr. Seuss Feet
There’s a sound that you heard, very small, like a bird
You would say it went “glump” if there were such a word
Then you look, and you see at the end of your foot
There’s a schlumpity, schloppity sort of a root
Or you kick and the floor seems to take a slight flop
Like a hiccup might make if it tripped on a mop
And you look, and you see, where you thought you’d see shoes,
Something droop-flap-a-slap and you wonder, “What? Whose?!”
You’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet, you’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet,
Now your toes are all floppy when you’re hopping down Mulberry Street
You’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet, you’ve got truly loose Feet,
And your toes are all floppy when you’re hopping down Mulberry Street
Simply tug on your socks ‘till they come off by half
But still snug in the middle, then try not to laugh
As you peel from your heel any bits that still cling
And with high-stepping step, stomp around as you sing
You’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet, you’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet,
And your toes are all floppy when you’re hopping down Mulberry Street
You’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet, you’ve got loosey-goose feet
And your toes are all floppy when you’re hopping down Mulberry Street
You’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet, you’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet,
And your toes are all floppy when you’re hopping down Mulberry Street
You’ve got Dr. Seuss Feet, you’ve got really süss feet
And your toes are all floppy when you’re hopping down Mulberry Street
